Catback

I'm torn between these two low cost cat-back options.

Agency Power $400

Mpx $469

I'm leaning towards AP just because it's cheaper and fully polished but is bolt-on that much better than slip fit?

Between those 2 I would have to choose the MPX just because it's good quality

Dejon and ARK are supposed to be coming out with one each aswell. Hopefully they won't be too expensive.

agency power sounds much better, and i dont know how many mods you have but if your minimally modded the 2.5" will serve better then the 3".

Bolted NA cars run 2.5". EVERY turbo I4 on the market goes 3"....EVERYONE. So please god PLEASE explain why you feel 2.5" is sufficient.

form everything ive read on this forum unless your pushing more then 300whp the 2.5" will be more then sufficient and you wont loose any low end.

you dont seem to know a whole lot about exhasts. lol. on the stock turbo a 2.5" catback will flow just fine. a smaller diameter exhaust can actually flow better than a 3" because it keeps the exhaust velocity up. when u go bigger turbo or run e85 or something, then yes, you will flow enough to benefit from a 3".

the power diffrence from a 2.5" and 3" exhaust is negligable at best on the stock turbo.

well all you need on ss/tc to push over 300whp is intake downpipe and tune so yea **** 2.5" 3" or dont do it at all and if your gonna buy an exhaust that is 2.5" you mine as well just get a muffler welded on cause thats all it really is

ya....considering he is on a stock downpipe? why would a 3" cat back matter? Plan for the future. and if you knew anything a catback does NOTHING for power w/ stock tune....

WAIT: you say i dont know ****? then say the difference is negligible? oh geez I never said a 2.5" wouldnt flow...EVER. I said go 3" and be done.

I want to be the first to test it for prototype purposes for Dejon. Send me a PM, if interested. Where did you get $400 from with Agency Power? They suppose to cost $570-650 something

Just my opinion but I say you spend a little more and go with a Hahn setup...TurboTech Racing is having a sale right now anyways. If I had waited a few more months I'd take advantage of this sale myself. Hahn's exhaust parts are well worth the money and the sound is amazing.

If I had to choose between the 2 setups your looking at though I'd pick the MPX with the longer resonator. Most cheaper exhausts look, sound and perform good at first but after a year or two it goes down hill.

why do you think i said if you are minimally modded a 2.5" will be more then sufficient!!! jeez idk what hes planning if hes stock and wants a good sound i stated agency power as the way to go, if hes got big plans for the car then the 3" mpx will be the better choice.
