catted down pipe

I'm going to be upgrading the stock downpipe soon and because where i live cats are required to pass the yearly inspection I look at the zzp downpipe and the option for the catted pipe is 200 cell or 400 im wondering has anyone had any problems with the CEL coming on with the 200 cell cat.

I had the ZZP 200 cell with the angled o2 bung and never had any problems. In fact I threw a couple P2096-post cat lean codes over the time I had it.

I gutted the cat and have had no light ever since.

But in theory if you get the 200cell with the stock o2 location it should be fine, worst case you throw a small non-fouler in.

If you want to go catless and get the angled o2 it should be fine. But if they do a visual inspection then that would fail

I have one of the first ZZP catted downpipes. It would throw a code every couple of weeks. I have HPT, so I would just clear it, but you can also get the tune edited to where it just won't come on at all.

If you delete the codes with HPT it won't set the catalyst or o2 monitors needed to pass inspection. Atleast in NY. Already been through that.

I have the 400 zzp. It gave me one p0420 code the day after. I cleared it and hasn't come back in 25,000km. I do not have the defouler bung added.
