CCSS3 Tuned - Just got Dyno'd...

Hey guys, well after having issues with my pcm getting it tuned I finally got a new pcm for my 2008 Cobalt SS/TC and got it tuned with HpTuners by James (CCSS3). My mods on my car for now are Hahn Racecraft Cold Air Intake and Hahn Racecraft Catted Downpipe, and here in Cincinnati I use 93 octane, although still considering e85 at some point. He set my boost at 22psi and 13* timing wot, a conservative tune. Took it to a shop near me to get it dyno'd on their Dynojet yesterday afternoon for 2 pulls on it for 50 bucks:

It made 304whp and 352 ft-lbs of torque. Im pretty happy with the results so far. I have a Forge Bypass Valve and Injen Chargepiping on the way to me now that I should have this week to put on my car. Hoping for upper 300's close to 400 by late summer for me.

I couldn't be happier with James' tune. Very good tuner and I feel very safe with the tune he has put on my car. Im not worried about anything. He has my business with further tunes for sure.

FrossB's on an upgraded turbo, so you'll have to head that direction to get those results.

I took it to Cincy Speed. Their website is cincyspeed.com. Probably one of the best shops in the area. Got a friend there that dyno's the cars. May cost a bit more for dyno pulls than what I got charged, friend discount ftw,lol

Shops have a hard time with the tach signal for some reason. I think coil #1 should be the best place to get it but I dunno. Maybe ZZP could chime in.

It's hard to get a good reading because the lnf vibrations causing signal wire to move. If they tap into the wire with just a basic needle type receiver.

I was at about 14psi before. When I first got tuned I was like holy ****! Lol......took a bit to get used to all the extra torque steer. Definitely a fun car to.drive compared to what it was. Im ready for more power now though haha
