See Here.
If you got the code cleared, fine - if it comes back, it may be one of those emissions related CEL gremlins that involve a dealer fix.

I sure wish someone would let me know about that bulletin - I can't seem to find anything on it.
*EDIT* Dammit, it's teasing me - see the 8th down , altough I do not have a subscription to this service ...

Good luck w/ yours !

well, I did a once over... smelled/ checked for anything out of the ordinary..
now my apologies for not searching but thanks for the feed back..
Had the code cleared.. a day and a half now and it hasn't come back..
I called my original dealer to inquire about the possiblity of having it looked at, but they are a bunch of dicks, so I called the other GM/Chev dealer here and the guy told me no matter what, my 8 month old car will be covered...
When I explained to them the and gave them the exact code he explained that sometimes even a piece of dirt.. grit can cause the cap to not seal properly giving me that pressure loss.. so I cleaned it all out, filled up and so far so good.
What is really getting to me is that I filled up on monday, drove 345 km home from visiting some friends in Shilo Manitoba, came to work tuesday and drove all morning/ afternoon... parked in the evening and when I came out of work around 10pm, I started it up and starting driving, and than saw the CEL come on... so... I dunno.. weird.

Condition
Some customers may comment on a check engine light. Upon further investigation, a technician may find one of the above DTCs.
Cause
This condition may be caused by normal water accumulation or condensation blocking the air reference port of the fuel tank pressure sensor. Blockage can cause inaccurate output signals. If the signal varies during an Engine Off Natural Vacuum test, a false DTC could set.
Correction
Review the diagnostic information contained in SI for the DTC and repair as necessary. If SI diagnosis does not isolate the cause of this concern, ONLY install a fuel pressure sensor shield, P/N 20893611. Clear the DTCs.
Chevrolet Colorado, Silverado and GMC Canyon, Sierra
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in SI.
