CIA DownPipe Install

Well guys, the Downpipe came in. Might I add it was BEAUTIFUL! I was so excited to have it, even though it was pouring down raining we installed it.

Install took Maybe 45 mins. TOPS

Sound: If you like the sound of the muffler delete, you are going to love this. Nice and deep and it pops more. My friend that helped installed )Ryan) who has an srt4 said it was VERY nice and deep.

Performance: Driving the first few pulls brought a smile to my face, as the sound up top was lovely! and I can tell a significance difference with the car! Doesn’t feel restricted anymore! Very nice gain

Quality: I took it to the Dealership and let the GM techs look at it, they were very surprised. The welds were beautiful and the overall product was lovely. The coating on it made it look even better. Silver grey ish. They approved of my DP might I add after seeing it!

Video coming soon! sub for that!

If you need any tips or more information let me know!

Thank you for the great review, and the quality of our work!
I do try to make every weld as good as if it was going on my own vehicle.
Thanks again, enjoy your CIA products!

I believe you are referring to the Aluminized coating on the steel tubing, and the High heat temp paint over the welds.

I go to a specific mechanic there, always try to get n and talk to one!
From now on he will be doing my stuff.

And for the record, catless downpipe throws no code.

Thanks

I'm not terribly worried about a code, just wondering. I'm still going catless, because I don't have to worry about passing emissions. :P

Yep! Only people who actually check this sort of thing is the state boys, and thats just going to net me a fix it ticket, and I'll just pay it and wait til i get another one, lol. I don't plan on being in Cali any time soon, so I think I'll be alright.

I am getting the clear image catless DP, so yours is the aluminized steel? That is the one I think I am getting, I dont see the sense in getting stainless.
