I bent up a few today while creating the bending numbers. These first few will require some cutting and welding but will be perfectly functional. They will be offered at a discount for those who don't care about having some welds in their intake pipe.

I will be placing an order for MAF flanges and our "factory correct" breather hose fittings tomorrow. Retail prices should be set by the middle of next week.

Thanks again everyone.

PM me the price of the prototype, I don't mind a few welds... I don't buy stuff to look good, i buy it so my tail lights look good to the competition.

sweet, CAI looks good. i dont like the filter too far down in the bumper. water makes me nervous with CAIs lol. what is the budgit intake? does it only replace the airbox, and uses the piping off the turbo?

Clear Image Auto Dan... is there a substantial power gain and/or any other benefits with the CAI over the SR due to the differnce in air temps? Has anyone actually measured temp differences between the CAI and SR filter locations on the SS/TC specifically, and any power gains between the 2? Just curious...

Thanks

I don't think anyone has really logged CAI vs. SRI, but I doubt it will be much different. I think the biggest temp drop with be due to intercooler.

Good call.. That's a good point that I stupidly didn't think of.. lol.. So all in all, for a turbo/intercooled motor a CAI is pretty much waisted money. Well I guess it's a SR for me when it comes out!

I am waiting to hear back from the machine shop for prices on the MAF flange and breather tube. He said he should have a quote by tomorrow. Once I get that I can set a retail prices and order some parts. Tubing is already bent; filters are here and silicone elbows are on the way. As long as I can have the machined parts in-hand in less than two weeks, we can get a batch of 10 built and sent for powder right away.

Thanks everyone.

Can't wait, got perf. boost tube , high flow cat DP, and hopefully the intake coming. Gonna install and get trifecta tuned as well as data loged on dyno with a local speed shop. I'll post vids and numbers asap.

Yeah, I'd be interested in your findings.

On another note: Any recent word on how the SRI development is coming along?
