clicking sound from wheels

i have an 09 ss, and anytime i accelerate from a dead stop (forward or reverse) or if i gas it hard then let off and gas it again i get a single click coming from definitely the driver side front wheel and possibly the passenger side, not sure on that though, i have no idea what its coming from

have you axles checked. it happens on TC's i had my driver side replaced under warranty. excessive play where the axle connects to the transmission.

it clicked forward or reverse when getting onto the throttle even part way. sometimes just letting the clutch out and backing out of the driveway it would click when an initial load was put on it.

its ur cv joint on the axle going out. I already had drivers side replaced under warrenty once, and it started last summer again, but haven't heard it this year, is only when I downshift to early. should probably change it lol

I assume that if we are on any type of aftermarket springs, it's a good idea to put the stockers back on so the dealer doesnt blame the aftermarket springs and deny warranty work, correct?

Yes because if the springs lower the car even just an inch or so it causes accelerated wear on the CV joints even if they do not bind if they are constantly on an angle they wear faster.

First thing you need to know is whether it is trifecta tuned or hp tuned because if trifecta tuned it has to be flashed back to stock with a trifecta cable.

Email vince at trifecta with your vin and see if he has record of tuning the car before. Or have someone with a hp tuners cable try to do a read entire and if it fails you know it was trifecta tuned.

I tried talking them into a "vette but I knew that definitely wasn't going to happen. Enjoy the Camaro while you have it.
