Clutch opinions

Ok, since the company I was working with feels its ok to take there good ol time, I think its ready for me to just get a clutch. Whats everyones opinions on the better clutches out there. The car will prolly be 500 ftlbs. by summer next year after graduation so thats something to think about. I know alot will say spec, but I kind of wanna stay away from them.

I would be the first to say go with a spec lol.. right now i have the 3+ and i have NEVER had a problem with it.. pedal feel is same as stock and i couldnt be happier with it.. especially since i live in the city so this clutch is awesome for that.

Spec sucks sorry. The fail rate is way to high and they dont back up their product and chatter is annoying. I have no chatter with my clutchmaster and it came with a GM Slave

So, the slave is able to put up with the added pressure plate pressure?

Clutchmaster designed the pressure plate forks to be easier on the thrust bearing and the slave. they repositioned the pivot point of the forks,

maybe your experience with them was bad but i have NO clutch chatter whatsoever. as far as this clutch goes, i cant even tell that its an aftermarket clutch. i cant give my opinion on the fail rate because its only been a year since ive had mine in but like i said before, i have had ZERO problems with mine.

Thats what's up. I saw on a website where the hyper single is only good to like 358 ftlbs. Tho so I am not sure on that one.

I run a CM Stg4 in my Subaru and I love it, I actually prefer the semi-rough engagement after driving it a bit. If I do one in the SS it will be a CM as well

I also ran a Exedy it my turbo accord and that was pretty nice as well!

It's no more than any other clutch and flywheel out there.

Reason why it is 'expensive' is because it comes with a flywheel as well.

Is the exedy the clutch you have? How do you like it.
