Clutches for SS/TC
dual spring tripple puck with dog style syncros in the tranny and all straight cut gears, that would be ******* sick **** right there. pop the clutch for the launch then jam the shifter into each next gear with no clutch pro stock style boo yah!
i havent used their products ive always used centerforce products and they are awesome never had a problem till we put a nitro methane motor on a tripple puck and exploded the disc
definately a must to get an aftermarket racing bell housing when making 800hp and above also get a multidisc pack when exceeding 900 hp
this is the extra high pressure centerforce number
DFX series part number 01010249 but it is for 2005-2007 cobalt ss and i dont know if it will work in replacement for our lnfs

Above 300hp ---> SPEC Stage 3+
Below 300hp ---> SPEC Stage 2+
Better to go larger, than not large enough, do it once, do it right, and save...
That is why sometimes SPEC has had complaints as the customer "under buys" the clutch and the clutch is not strong enough for their setup...
Even though SPEC might say this, I would do this:
Above 300hp ---> SPEC Stage 3+
Below 300hp ---> SPEC Stage 2+

carbon fiber shafts mmmmmmmmmmm..
i have a SPEC clutch on my 2.4, and it's been fine. my only issue was that it came with a slave cylinder and that ended up needing to be replace, but that could have very well had to do with my install.

seriously bigger is better in this case though
I just purchased the 3+ for my setup
I talked with one of the high HP Cobalt guys, if not the highest on CSS, and he is running the same clutch I just purchased and he has had no problems. I talked to many people about which clutch to choose. He also told me his buddy has an Exedy clutch and he said he has had nothing but problems with it since day 1

Once I get it warmed up I can do whatever I want with it.
I dunno...but I didn't know about all that...hmm then Spec is FTW.
