when people talk **** about my car i just ask them to run them. "its just a cobalt" lol, they usually shut up after my car works them hard or some d-bags say "the interior is still ugly" and "my car holds a better resale value." i <3 dumbasses haha

 

lol i was next to some dude in a Stang his window was up and i watched him mouth Supercharged and than he laughed so i proceeded to pull away from him off the line while spinning my tires and than i caught traction and was gone

 

I'm about 110% sure a stock 5spd Scion TC will walk a stock 2.2. Either way, the guy still dont need to act like a douche bag.

I got **** right after I bought my car and went back to the Police Academy with it, this one guy was talking **** saying his Crown Vic Police car would beat me, then he said his 1.8T Jetta would beat my ass, then he said his Mom's Ford Fusion with his whole family in it would beat me. I just laughed and said let's run em, and then he started acting cool and trying to talk with me about it. Then I have this guy I used to work with, who owns an RSX-S, which I might add is pretty nice, he has exhaust, intake, header and its lowered, and he runs mid 9's in the 1/8 mile, but he still manages to talk **** about all my cars, even my 05 Mustang GT that would rape his car horribly. I told him to get it tuned and then talk with me, LOL.

 

I used to get hated on but ever since I ran a modded STi a few months back in my area, things have gotten quiet for me. *shrugs*

But like I said, I used to get hated on ALL the time because I drive a "superslow"

Oh ok, LOL. I was thinking of getting a 2.2 Cobalt or a Cavalier LS Sport, but when I heard the SS/TC's were coming out, I had to wait and get one. I love the fact that there are so many mods for the 2.2's, well 2.2 Cavaliers, that you can have a 13 second N/A car that is such a sleeper.

 

no they are faster out of the factory.......however u can mod a 2.2 slightly and **** on them.....i ran him and did just that.......it was an auto though........but then again so am i........but i do have an autotrans interceptor that helps :-)

 

Yeah I know the Scions are faster stock, but I didnt know you were modded til you told me. There are some pretty decent mods out there for the Scion TC nowadays, but I couldnt drive the car, it looks ok, but drives funny and I rather have an Ecotec motor under the hood, LOL.

 

o ya man i understand i would have questioned me 2....but i just hate them so much and my rant just came so naturally i didnt add that little important detail.........and decent mods thats debatable....def dosnt have the mod base the 'balts do......... but if i wanted an over priced POS toyota corolla that costs as much as and SS 'balt i would go for it

 

my cobalt is very hated. untill they realize there wallet is empty .

Its all good, I would rather own a GM than a Toyota, and this is coming from a guy who would only own Fords his whole life, LOL. I just figured I'd show you a site that actually is coming out with some pretty nice mods for the Scion TC, just in case you ran into one that was well modded and surprised you. I know I'd be surprised if a Scion TC ran right with either of my cars, LOL.

 

Roll...He and I gunned it and I was about 3 cars back.(I started in 3rd @60) When I pulled 4th I was going by him and I shut it down when I was ~3 cars ahead.

Yeah, I was actually surprised at how well I kept up in my 01 Mustang GT that was an auto against an EVO. We ran from like a 40mph roll up til like 90 and I was only like a 1/2 car back. Rolls just arent to great when you drive an AWD car.

Newp. The drive train loss on AWD is a lot. He had Intake, BOV, FMIC, 3" Turboback Exhaust, charge piping and a "tune" all on stock turbo...

Oh, and as for time, I am not too sure. A buddy of mine has the same set-up and he ran a 13.1...I myself have never been to the track but I'd venture to say I'm close to that as well. But I just have 0 grip.
