Yeah I was hoping we would hear more from him today, but something must have come up. Oh well, there's always tomorrow.

if someone wants the spectre 3" tubing kit(part #8208), I bought it through jegs, it got put on back order, I thought I had canceled the order(did not), found it at a local parts store anyway....................and a few weeks later the other one arrived in the mail

my loss is your gain, its like $44(+ shipping) but i'll let it go for $35 shipped

never opened, still sealed with the original tape in the Jegs.com box

its not the MAF adapter, just the intake tubing kit, you'd still need the MAF adapter and a 45 degree elbow(and I advise two 3" rubber couplings for the MAF adapter)

I found out, Autozone carries the tubing and my Advanced Auto Parts could have the MAF adapter in one business day(special order)

IM getting on it right now, New ERa will have some CAI's very shortly.

Since there is a great deal of materials required to get out of the fender, I'll ask every one now-

Short stack or thru fender? It's about 35% more money in materials to go thru the fender like stock.

Also Mild steel or aluminum? It's 2x as much in materials for alumium. Although I suppose since the Jig will be the same I can offer both.
A cheaper mild steel powdercoated one and a nice polished aluminum one.

i want polished aluminum and i want it thru my fender. how are you fabbing this pipe up, do you have a 08/09 tc test car? the cobalts are so extremely different which is why why dont have a CAI currently. our CAI comes from the turbo the others come from the manifoldand superchargers.

Also is this gonna be a good buy or a temp buy, i guess what im asking is are you trying to use the same materials as injen and aem use or just some cheaper off brand stuff to get us by until those companies bring their products out, if you make one with good enough stuff we wont need to buy a new one im sure a CAI is a CAI long its not cheap ass plastic material like Spectre uses.

I have Joe's 08 CBSS/TC.

I only do stuff one way- the right way. That means the best materials, carefull quality control, and great engineering. (I'm MET/EET)
