were you NLS'ing? maybe you were a lil slow. I have had a similar "problem" a couple of times, sometimes from 1st to 2nd gear and sometimes from 2nd to 3rd, but I just assumed I was messing up lol.

Was TC and or ESC on? I get this sometimes on a highway ramp when I shift down to 3 and hammer it. I think it is the waste gate opening, does the exhaust sound louder when this happens?

Sounds like misfires to me...

Almost like the same situation if you were to try to nls when the engine was too cold.

I'm just spitballing here.

1 - You were spinning when you shifted
2 - You just tapped the limiter when you shifted
3 - You shifted a tad too slow(nls)

These will cause a misfire. You hear popcorn exhaust note with a brief loss of power. Usually clears it self in a second or two. Sometimes it will blink the engine light at you and you have to let off for a second to let it settle

Nothing really. A pending code is just the car detecting a possible problem. If it happens a certain number of times within a time frame it will set a cel. Clear whatever you find and move on. Ive only set a cel for a misfire once but it was my fault.

depending on the scanner you might have to manually look for pending codes
