So the guys that have bought this let me know if im correct. the treadstone stage 3 with stainless catback and no tuning is 2,070, or for there intake, intercooler kit+bov, downpipe, and bpv block off plate is 1585+ shipping..... Then for zzp the intake tube, offroad downpipe, ic kit with tial bov and rotated trans mount is 1537.. Trying to decide what to get. Im ordering everything on the 18th so im trying to get advice from guys that have these parts to see which parts to get. and im going to be trifecta tuned and trying to stay at a 2,800 budget..

Treadstone prducts are very nice, same for zzp. Price seems almost the same. It will be a hard decision

I responded to your PM but since this is a different question... you should be rather impressed with the power. I would suggest doing a trifecta base tunable file with a HP tune overlay. The power is rather... Ummm dramatic. I have traction issues up to like 70mph on flat dry pavement with warm tires. With trifecta only I would think that 350lbs/torque at the wheels on a dynojet would be a rather easy mark to hit. Have fun buying new tires haha I am only at 10,000 miles and the temptation for the right foot is a little too much. The stock tires are um done.

I talked to vince and he said he tunes them rich for street tunes but told me if i dyno it he will tune it more aggresive. And yes tires arent going to last long. I have it set on the cruise control and even with traction control on the tires scream. But with it off there is no hope

Yea its is a good tune, just a little rich for me. I was looking to get a little closer to the end of the envelope. I still have the selectable function on mine as well. So when the cruise is on I get nice MPG but when I turn the cruise off and put the car into hunter/killer mode, it's bobsled time bro for sure.

I like it running a little rich because temps don't jump to 200 or more after a few wot pulls

I'm not knocking zzp by any means. But for the people I have ask that have the parts and from past experience I don't mind using treadstone because I know people who I've used treadstone on other cars. And if they are close in custome service and quality I can't see spending more for the same end results. That's just me

Well, Treadstone is also one of the top brands. Again, it is a very hard choice. I never drove a car with neither's turbo kit on it, but according to the guys on the forum, it seems like zzp has an excellent reputation. But Treadstone has a good reputation also. It will be very difficult to choose between the two of them. I got mine from autowerks, so really I wouldn't know personally regarding either zzp or Treadstone. We have to go by just what we read on the forum i guess

I get where you coming from. if i get a turbo upgrade it will most probably be zzp but as far as bolt ons it is a hard choice. I have friends here that swear by treadstone but never used zzp due to their platform

I think is not right for a guy to judge a company if he never tried it. If you have friends that have Treadstone and they say great things about it, then either you stay on the safe side and go with Treadstone, or you try to gain as much info as you can on zzp and try to figure out which one is better. There are a lot of videos on youtube showing zzp Cobalts. I'm getting Autowerks but the car is not ready yet, so I still don't know much about it.

Trust me im asking people on here. I kinda feel im asking to many questions but we all gotta learn and i wouldnt mind any new person to this site or new to the cars to ask me questions. Im not trying to set any records i just like when i buy things to get evrything the same. not mix and match parts unless i have to. treadstone makes everything i need so looks like treadstone for me

I haven't had a problem with spiking temps at all. If you experience higher temps you could be having a little engine knock.

Oh and in regards to the other post... The only dumb question is the one you don't ask. Dude if you need any clarification let me know, I put this whole stage 3 on myself, like seriously myself didn't have a friend or anyone help me. If I don't have the information you need I can tell you where to find it.
