Dejon Intercooler Pics and Review

Here it is got here in three days 590$ shipped. Dejon is pretty awesome about getting it out the door ASAP for me. They even did a Saturday delivery at no extra charge & Fed-Ex which is WAY better then UPS -

After sending the Crazy Steve ( GenuineSaab ) IC back this is what I went with due to Synapse not having their cores in 2 weeks later.

Review will come after I get this thing on their , the welds look kind of thin to me but ??

Looks longer than the stocker, or is that just the angle of the pic? Does this work on stock pipes? Not really interested in aftermarket ones.

You will want better pipes when you see what happens to them at higher boost levels...

Well here is the deal , It is the same core as synapse , Pressure tested , fast shipped , Bolted right up
FITS like a GLOVE , After market Charge pipes fit. My car is running REALLY smooth faster throttle response All around a very satisfied customer and hope this will give Dejon some customers . I Have only a few miles on the IC and seems to be holding good ..

Crazy Steve IC Just blows complete donkey ***** PERIOD this has been proven . ... Crazy Steve Genuine Saab IC did have surprisingly enough really NICE thick welds on it the unit as a whole was OK but the Direct bolt on / fit issues just didn't cut it,

My after market cold side pipe barely fits the Dejon IC but It does fit good enough to make it work ..

This Dejon unit WILL definitely fit the stock Charge pipes NO problems for sure ..

X2 Dave at Dejon is a REALLY AWESOME guy! And if something doesn't work out, he wants to fix it, and make it better for you!

I have his Hot-Side Charge Piping & I LOVE it! And I have his downpipe, but I am getting the Hahn one because of the Electric Cutout.

I'll stick with my ETS intercooler.... beautiful welds, fits great, dollar for dollar the best intercooler you can buy...

That is based on FLOW, EFFICIENCY, and FINS/IN.

It however IS NOT a direct bolt on... had to have custom mounts made, and 90's bent and welded on...

Crazy Steve's intercooler can be made yourself for less money...

It's an EBAY CXracing core... just search the size it can be had for less than $100.00 just have 90's welded and a way to mount it..

You could possibly have that same intercooler for $150-175.00 if you know what you are doing.

Where do you get the bead rolled 90s at ? I doubt most SS members want to deal with finding the 90s and having their car torn down while they fit the 90s and the mounting tabs to the core. You cant just go have them welded up without a jig.

Most metal fab shops have a bead roller. I'm a hobbyist fabricator and have one in my basement. And if your local fab shop lacks a bead roller, they can easily make your own "ghetto" bead by flowing a bead around with the TIG. We're not launching the space shuttle here... this stuff is easily and cheaply done.
