You only need to take the bumper off if you are switching intercoolers

Looks cool, just not sure I like the way the piping has the smaller diameter near the coupler

Just got this in today. The piping will get here any day now.

By the way, what exactly does Thermal Dispersant Coating do? And is it worth the extra money?

thermal dispersion is used on front mounts as well as air conditioners it allows them to keep the cooling properties they would have normally basically like reverse ceramic coating i thinkg

It's not a chip, it's like leftover finish. There are more blotches like that on it but I got it from ebay.

Ive got a noobie question seeing...well, I am an a newb when it comes to turbos. From looking at the pictures of the OP's car the BOV goes right on top of the charge piping near the front of the car. So my question is... where is the stock BPV? Is it connected directly to the stock charge piping somewhere? Its obviously not as visible as where an aftermarket BOV goes. Also, I had heard talk that replacing our BPV with a BOV would effect our no lift shift because it would blow off the boost youre trying to save during the quick shift. Is this accurate? Im assuming no if people have been making the change. Thanks for any help.

The stock BPV goes back into your intake. You can see the line coming from the turbo going back into your intake near the end of the intake (towards the throttle body).
