he was on here. I remember one of those 7 videos he made with the smoke pooring out. He's either running really rich or he's burning oil, doesnt take a dummy to figure that out, if hes not making boost, well there ya go.

Also he points out that during the open loop circuit (cold start) there is no smoke. But on the closed loop circuit, the smoke appears once the car is up to operating temp.

When my seals cooked I pushed 0lbs and I got a brand new ko4 on here for 400 bucks... Just easier and safer to replace the whole turbo.

No, not the issue. When you have little to 0 back pressure seals flex out which is what happened. It happens alot on the mazdaspeed3s!!!

 

The only thing giving them back pressure is the stock DP, people always go cat-less. I inspected my brothers Mazdaspeed 6 and his piping is smaller than the 3. The Mazda 3 has 2.75" Piping, as far as I know. Correct me if I am wrong.
