Does it add HP? Does it allow you do add 1-3 extra pounds of boost? Does it do anything else besides make the car louder? I know it stops the car from putting extra boost, but does it do anything else?

This is what I mean ---> https://scontent-b-lax.xx.fbcdn.net/...87007981_n.jpg

A wastegate is required for a turbo car so you don't blow it up both the engine and turbo.

A simple google search would have told you that.

if your inquiring about a LNF specifically then no, the turbo has an internal wastegate on it and there is no point in changing boost pressure if you can add fuel to compensate. our cars are regulated through the ECU if im correct and to change any boost settings just get a tune.

external wastegates wont yield you any more good results in this car unless you have a big turbo.

that video missed one big thing.... depends on where the maf is located and so forth.
