Does a Catless DP sound ricy? Respond ASAP

Well I am temped to buy a catless DP today b/c of the black friday deals offered by ZZP and OTTP.

Does a Catless DP sound ricy with a stock cat back?
If yes I will save my $190.

I have the CIA catless with the stock SS exhaust. I think most any exhaust on a 4cyl sounds like shitty rice, and I am very anti-rice (unlike many on this site.) The DP does NOT sound like a rice burner. It makes a nice deep growl.

I was set on ordering a Catted Downpipe untill this thread!!! However, I have read some posts of people saying it sounds slightly ricey on a cold start and at other moments in the rev range.

your not suposed to get a code with an angled 02 bung.

If I do, I will be pist and I will be selling my DP.
The angles 02 bumg was 40..... If I wanted a 02 bung that throws a code i would have paid $10 for a regular bung.

I am pretty sure many hundreds of hours of testing were performed on this tune to last 100,000 miles in any elevation, tempature, and climate. In the spring I will install the GM stage one. The DP is very easy to switch if I have have an issue.

I would consider a tune if someone steps up offers a warrenty like Lingenfelter, Hennessey, and other high performance companies offer.

Thanks for the info. I was only concerned because I read a post where someone said that catless on the stock exhaust was borderline embarassing. Then I read so many other posts like these saying it sounds awesome.
