Which DP w/ no CEL

I've read through the sticky about DP, and I still got a question. Which catted DP does not cause a CEL?

I've read on here that people still get a CEL even with a catted DP. I know Hahn has an angle o2 bung to help prevent a CEL. Are there any other DP that prevent this or is Hahn the only company that makes this?

I have emissions in my area.

Thanks

I've had a Clear Image automotive catless downpipe for 3 years and 70k miles. No CEL. Not saying it was the best one out there, but it matches your criteria.

I have the turboxs catless and have never got a CEL from it. The 02 is on a 90 degree elbow. I'd imagine that the catted version is the same. I don't know where in VA you are located, but they are in MD. Might not be too far from you to be able to just go there.

I have a the Hahn Catted, no cel after 2 years or so. And it was well made. Imo hahn or zzp should make a good part. I don't know if I've heard of too many catted dp's causing cel's. Damn it sounds good as well...but the GMPP engineers said the car sounds bad ass with a 3" straight pipe.....makes me ponder.

Does anyone have a vid of how a catted DP sounds with a stock exhaust? Can't find a vid. It's either a catless DP or catted DP with an aftermarket exhaust

It wouldn't be that much different than stock, maybe a touch louder.

I've had the turboxs catted (high flow) DP for about a year, no CEL with or without the tune. Been running it with their RFL exhaust as well. It's pretty loud considering it has no muffler and I believe 1 resonator? I can't remember.. all I know is that it's loud lol.

hmmm... That is how mine is now...sounds good but not loud all the time. Like warm ambient air temps make it not as loud, and it only is loud when flooring it. ugh I want more flames out the rear end to scare people

Haha you get used to it, to me anyways, it really isn't that loud lol. When I want it to be loud though, it goes lol. For ***** and gigs I want to put a full 3" exhaust on the car to see how bad it would be.

Knock on wood I haven't gotten pulled over with the exhaust yet! I probably just doomed myself. Yeah I daily drive it lol. Dave I'm the guy who ran the 13.4, you're friends With Kleiber right? I'm the one with the slow cobalt out of the tri-state area lol.

Funny story actually, I got pulled over more times BEFORE I got the exhaust than after lol.
