dyno results

So I had my car dynod today at the ced meet. I put down 283hp and 296tq. My afr was at 13.1. I already talked to a few people at the meet about it and they said I should have been a bit higher. What do you guys think. Mods in sig

Interesting....I'm expecting the stage kit for the cobalts to be putting down close, but slightly lower numbers....I predict 270hp & 290 tq

Those numbers are good enough for the gmpp tune, with a custom tune you'd be putting down more.

Thats not bad IMO. What were other people dynoing? Did they think it was high/low? Remember, each dyno calibration is different. Don't be discouraged!

They said I should be around 300hp. But I'm happy with the results. An hhr with just a stage kit dynoed at 257hp and 276tq. So I guess the exhaust and charge pipes help. I might throw hp tuners on top of the stage kit just to get a little more but ill see

So those are the numbers of the stage kit+uprgrades, no additional tuning? I'd be pretty happy with that. What kind of dyno? Did you happen to get baseline numbers on it?

lol but not bad numbers depending on what kinda dyno and what the baseline numbers where... its more the increase on the same dyno than the final numbers... like everyone elce said calibration for numbers are all diffrent.

What do stock HHR SS's put down? If they are indeed similar numbers to stock Cobalt SS's then that means with the GM tune they gained around 17-20whp. Did they tell you about the trq number?

Hp sounds about right if not a little high for 290 rated crank Hp. Torque seems right on the money for the stage kits rated output on the HHR. A/F is too damn lean to make much more than that. Needs to be richened up some.

My baseline #s for my HHR SS were,

1st pull - 238.28HP/260.87TQ
2nd pull - 245.83HP/261.90TQ
3rd pull - 237.59HP/252.88TQ

These pulls were back to back with no cooldown and they were on a dynojet. I will be re-dynoing this weekend at the same dyno and the only change I have made is the Stage kit.

What did stock HHR SS or Cobalt SS/TCs put down on that dyno. Most make 240 whp or so SAE stock. That dyno may read a little low but maybe it is worth only 20 whp or stock we need so see what someone made on that dyno stock.

I'd call those pretty good numbers.

Seems about the same as most stock TC Cobalts dyno at on a dynojet. IIRC the HHR has lower torque table setting so I thought the HHR would dyno a little less than that. Depends on the dyno though.
