EFR 6758 Build and install
So I'll give you a little background on the car. A friend bought the car 2 months ago with the intent on building a street monster. I am a Subaru guy, 2008 STi. I've been tuning my own car (actively) for about 1 year, learning and playing with tuning for 2-3 years.
2 months ago he had a stock LNF. First mods were the HP Tuners Standard, K&N, and Injen piping. Started learning HPT on the forums and the diy guides and ect...Slowly he started buying the other mods in my signature. We installed them, still on the stock turbo we got a safe tune dialed in at 22.5psi on pump (91oct). I told him he needed E85 (or E47 for the LNF fuel system). Got help from 09cobaltss (thanks man) and got it running pretty good. Fuel trims slightly off. Long story short is my assumption he was making 350ish on E47, stock turbo @ 24ish psi. We never got to dyno it.
Last saturday was the EFR install. 7hrs. Got it buttoned up and we did some quick logging and road tune.
Took it to the dyno yesterday and this was the final result! 25.5psi and 23* up top. Car clearly wants more boost, but he is way out of fuel. It's a torquey turbo!
His plans are to get the ZZP Cam installed and run more boost, make more power. I know he's on the limit of the shortblock so his daily map is 400whp at 25psi, 20* up top. I also made him a low boost map at 20psi that made 373whp. He opted for the higher boost of course
I really like this turbo. There's more in it. It did ok at low boost, but once it was turned up to mid 20's it really started shining! My guess is 28-30psi is going to be max boost/power in this setup. He needs a shortblock to push things that far. You guys have been a big help in all of this just so you know! Thanks!
EDIT: I must add T-Man to the list of helpers! Wow, my mind was moving faster than my fingers while typing. THANK YOU as well!

Thanks guys, he's loving it! I know we're going to have to tweak things. Gonna hit the track Friday hopefully and run low 12's and hopefully (goal) high 11's. He has slicks he needs to to get rims for. The car will be useless without them I'm sure.

Now if only these glass transmissions could hold the power I'll be a happy camper! lol

Nice man! Definitely glad I could help. Those are some solid ass numbers. I've been dialing in the tune on my newly installed zfr on e35 and the car definitely rips! Unfortunately my fuel system doesn't like e47 so much with this turbo so I had to knock the ethanol content down a bit to e35, but I can still get 23* of timing at 26psi no problem. My best 60-100 time so far is a 3.69 and my virtual dyno is putting me at 451whp! Oh yeah baby!

Holy cow you can work some magic!! We are right on the edge of being out of fuel. High altitude is good for something Your car rips dude!
Haha no kidding! Hopefully it holds up, I've read likewise but it seems to be ok.

I ran on 29psi at 114 octane on my s256et on the weekend at the track and my block is still alive. The stock block is good for more than you think as long as you don't have any detonation.

it probably is closer to 350whp on a mustang dyno.
My Trailblazer ss made 440whp on a dynojet with smoothing, and 380whp on a mustang dyno back to back. My regal is putting down 380 on a mustang and it feels like it could take the ss. Regardless, nice numbers with the blend on an efr.
