esc delete?

is there any way i can delete this bullshit?
i'm so sick of holding the button for 10 seconds lol.
i was thinking about it, and was wondering if maybe it was controlled by a fuse or something.
any ideas?

if you hold it for 10 seconds esc turns off, and so does traction control.
you press it once, only traction control turns off.

What's the point of driving with it off? Doesn't it just make your tires spin if u punch it

nay sir.
esc controls your wheels from losing control by applying the brakes to one side or the other when it spins out.

when i punch it, i get no wheel spin cause i'll do so in a low boost setting.
once. right before i shift to 3rd i swap over to high boost and i'm gone.

the best form of esc is your foot

how about getting vince to write the software so it's the opposite way,

where you would have to press it for 10 seconds to turn ESC on?

I don't think so only if your trying to do them at 40 and cornering.
Traction control would though. But I'm sure you turn that off?

You might find your selves in a ditch , for daily driving it is unsafe as hell to have it off , I should know, I curb rashed a rim with it off Not saying I don't ever turn it off but damn you hit some sand on a curved road and it isn't good.

Dude
you don't have to hold it 10 seconds to do anything. Push it once to turn off ESC and twice to turn off ESC/traction and it goes into NLS comp mode. Thats it period.

you still have to hold traction button for the 10 secs. to enter the esc mode off. simply pushing the button once and twice only turns off traction control you have to hold down to get rid of the electronic stability

Electronic stability is only made a little less agressive in.c competative mode. As for not turning it off dailey driving the world got by just fine without road rashing rims before stability control. I find it more unpredictable and over agressive to the point of actually putting you into a curb. It's almost perfect for dailey driving in comp mode. And off at the track

i agree.
the first time i took a really hard corner, i corrected enough to ensure i'd make it and then esc kicked it and completely threw me off. scared the **** out of me. so now i turn it off.

just find something that keeps contacts closed for a input amount of time, say ten seconds. then clip the wire that activates the traction control, (use mutimeter to find it) and wire timer before the switch, so when u hit the button, the timer will let power through for 10 seconds as if ur pushing the button then after 10 seconds the contacts in the timer will open as if ur not pushing the button anymore and there u go. problem solved.

good luck finding one though. lol
