Estimated output numbers expected on a modded lnf?
I've decided on getting a 2009 cobalt ss tubro sedan. It will be a daily driver but I plan on heavily modifying it. I will be replacing the following: Cams, a tune, porting the heads, valve springs, retainers, balance shafts, zex nitrous wet shot system, 3" catback exhaust, LNF s259 et turbo upgrade, Stage 4 clutch, connecting rods, coil over system, eibach roll bars, cold air intake, fuel pump, and a water methanol kit. Everything is going to be purchased through zzperformance.com. I tried emailing them without any luck, so if anyone could do some research for me and give me an estimated hp/tq number that would help. I was thinking it would be able 500-550hp. Alittle confused, thank you guys!

exclude the nitrous and your golden on 25psi 93oct tune. im sure you would be around 425-450whp with all boltons, that turbo and upgraded clutch. which is plenty for a 2900lb car and is fwd...obviously internal work will be needed to be reliable at levels over 400whp is what most say on here..500whp is the limit for the trans/axels, but anything close is still gonna be very stressful on them...btw, zzp is hard to get ahold of, so just pm them on here and im sure u will get a faster response....gl

S259et will net you that power without nitrous. Hell the S256 will as well.
As Tommy said, you will need to look into a Stage 2 transmission and some forged rods/pistons. 500whp begins to be a lot of traction issues (scratch that... you see traction issues long before 500whp) in a FWD.
Also if you buy the S259/262/256 etc... whatever... you will not need a CAI as the kit comes with everything including downpipe. Just need a cat-back and add the option for the intercooler.
I would also advise not getting coil-overs and just grab some pedders. I made the mistake, you shouldn't have to. Powell hardcore bar is better than the eibach as well. The rest of your options look great and ZZP is hard to get a hold of sometimes. You can email their sales staff for assistance steve@zzperformance.com i believe.

I have to refrain from PMing/emailing like 900 times a day regarding my turbo kit and if they have received my ECM yet LMAO.

I wouldn't even say that. They are helpful and friendly when you ask a question. It's just sometimes a PITA to get a hold of them. I understand your over-arching comment saying in general it sucks. Really if they just had a "bitch boy" whose job it was to answer PMs/emails/answer the 9000 dumb questions a day... they would be great. Their parts and knowledge are top notch.

Thanks guys, I really just want the nitrous for the hell of it. It will be a 50 hp lb shot. Do you really think I will need to upgrade my tranny as well? Ugh Well I dont really feel like putting that much, and I know the turbo upgrade comes with it. I just included it incase someone doesnt look it up and tried to say to get one xD. I am aware of the bad traction fwds are known for, and about the daily driver thing. It will be a daily driver until I get a new car, then it will be a weekend car (: Thanks guys, Im shooting for a 500 hp range with nitrous so all the info you guys are giving me is great!

You need to learn more about this car before you decide to put all that on just for a daily driver.
500Hp/4cyl and "Daily Driver" just dont' go hand in hand. Have you experienced the fun of a stage 4 clutch on this car?
How about driving a 400+ hp 4cyl car in traffic? Starting from a dead stop at an intersection with a stage 4 clutch and 500hp is comical.
Everyone is going to think you are racing them.
Seriously, talk to some of the people here who own balts in that power range.
Many people don't just drop a 50 shot on for the hell of it either. Nitrous is something people use for a specific purpose on the car. Usually based off a need at the dragstrip. But if you have the money and just want to play, then go for it. I would put it into some pedders springs, sway bars, R1 concept rotors, ceramic pads etc.

If you are planning on running nitrous get the zex turbo nitrous kit,it has a boost shut off so you can set it to shut off when you reach the desired boost, so it eliminates turbo lag, and only run like a 35 shot. I have been thinking of getting that kit for a while now.

Again... I am aware this is alot of power for a daily driver, but two things. One stay off of the boost by keeping off the throttle or using the boost controller that comes with the turbo upgrade. So scratch the bad mpg rating. And Second, I plan on replacing this car as a dd and make it a weekend car. Stage 4 is recommended by zzp with lnfs since it feels the closest to stock. So no comment on that. Lastly, I loved this car since I was a kid (not the sedan just in general) but it doesnt mean I know anything about it. I am determined on getting this car and am looking for advice before I get it. Thanks
p.s. You're still a kid.

BWAHAHAHAA! Man, you must be 16. Now it's starting to make sense. There is not boost controller with the "turbo upgrade" sold by GM. I don't know if you're talking about ZZP's kit or what, but you're not going to be able to afford any of it at 16.
p.s. You're still a kid.

Im 17, and I fell for this car back in 2005 with the supercharged version. Every since then I told myself I would get one.
