I bought my car used a couple months ago and i'm not sure what exhaust is on it. Its unmarked, no branding to be seen anywhere. I have a couple pictures maybe someone has any ideas gmpp maybe?

Not GMPP. GMPP is marked with GMPP.

I'm not sure of the brand though. Not a major brand one, for sure. I am sure, though, that the 135* bend to go around the fuel tank is ultra-restrictive.

not turbo XS... resonator and muffler on the Turbo XS exhaust are both LOOONG and HUUUGE! lol

also, TXSs exhaust is very shiny.
mirror polish always looks good.

is this car loud as if it has an aftermaket exhaust?... because the more i look at these pics i think that this car had an aftermarket catback on it and they took it off the sell the car. to take the stock exhaust off the car you need to cut it right before it bends near the gas tank. and it looks to me that right about where it needs to be cut, the pic shows a weld. so im guessing that this is a stock catback welded back together before the car was sold by the previous owner... sorry if im wrong but from the LOOKS of it thats wat i get

They usually use Magnaflow resonators though. The one he has pictures looks like a Vibrant though. Real small.

That's not stock. Doesn't even resemble stock in the slightest. Resonator is too small. Muffler is too small. Front hanger is different style.

That looks like a slip joint before the muffler. The weld before the muffler is more than likely the weld where they put the exhaust together (aka, mating thing piping to the muffler).

Plenty of small companies do it like that.

And even then... nothing says that the PO didn't have the muffler changed at some point because he either didn't like it, blew it out, etc.

It sort of looks like the Megan and "Agency Power" catbacks available on eBay... but they both have the slip-joint before hopping over the beam, not after it like the OP's.

looks like they got a muffler from Pepboys and a slip pipe welded to it at the muffler shop. I think the resonator is factory. the Downpipe is definately factory. The piping also looks pretty factory to me. Muffler looks like pepboy muffler. Resonator maybe aftermarket.

Could it be possible that they got an aftermarket muffler welded on with an aftermarket resonator? they may have had to cut off a bit of pipe and they used the slip on pipe to reseat it?
