Does anyone have anything else BESIDES hahn racecraft or CIA. i understand both are good exhaust systems but im just curious as to what else is out there and what else sounds good.

 

I am under the impression there was a post stating flowmaster was working on a system, and I believe magnaflow has one as well.

 

muffler delete sounds great. other then those two you posted idk

 

I have the muffler delete right now I will probably get a 3inch dump welded in where the secondary cat is and put back on the muffler.

 

just get a muffler delete and a catless DP and you should be straight

 

well i want something thast going to have a low tone to it and sound pretty evil i guess lol. catless downpipe was in the plans already.

 

vulcan makes a kit, magnaflow makes a kit, turbo addictions also

mandrel exhaust systems website lists the 3 bolt ss/tc kit

lot of options, but the stocker flows very very well

just get a catless dp

 

i understand the stocker flows well but its just one of those things.... i like to work on my cars haha. catless downpipe is already on its way here. Anyone play around with anything else? whats up with the muffler delete..... i havent read much up on it. so if its not a big deal someone just give me a quick run down.

 

just like what it say cut the muffler out and weld a straight pipe in its place

I wonder what it would sound like with a catless DP. It may not be too different cause it would still have 1 cat and a resonator but would just flow a little better.... any1 have a clip of a SS/TC with catless DP and muffler delete?

^see it crackles a little too much catless though. Under load it sounds great but with just regular driving it would crackle way too much. If you go catless i would recommend some sort of straight through muffler

 

im wondering though if it is the camera cuz my exhaust is just plain ******* loud and when i record it if the camera is to close it sounds very crackly on video. but is not crackly at all in person

I have a borla exhaust on my SS, its niiiiiiiiice. It has a deeper tone, not rice-y at all, and no drone! its not too loud, but under WOT people will know you are coming...and that is what I was going for

Vibrant makes a good deep sounding one too. very mean IMHO

You have a cobalt SS/TC or SS/SC? and is that stock all the way through and a Borla muffler?

 

theres a couple people with Borla but Ive yet to see a video!!! haha...I want to hear what a Borla system sounds like on these cars... *Attention* SS/TC/Borla owners....POST a VIDEO!....Please

 

Same. My mustang and camaros sound good and the quality of the exhaust is awesome aswell. someone post up your vid!

The guy Aaron from my car club has a stock ss/sc exhaust with a borla muffler and the thing sounds amazing. My favorite SS/SC sound

i have the vibrant 3" w high flow cat and it sounds good as hell i think...its pretty throaty if thats what u are looking for.
