What is the most favored cold air kit ? I know AEM uses a dry filter which is good.....I have a filter sock for the round angled style....I hate !he oil and wont use it....it will burn a code every time if it gets on the m/a flow sensor.

 

pipe is pipe, and if you know how to oil a oiled filter properly you shouldnt have a problem

 

A lot of people are waiting on K&N to release their's . So far no one has really got one right for these cars yet. I've ran an oiled K&N drop in for almost a year with no codes or MAF trouble .

^^^^ lol.....some are good some are bad. my buddies is rusting already and my other buddies fit like crap. no one has really gotten them right as of yet. maybe treadstones will be different. im working with performance autowerks on 3 style intakes. 2 are due for definately release(short ram and cold air) the third is possible but also unlikely.

 

I got hahn, but there clamps are a piece of **** about as worthless as a broken shoe string. I went out and bought some pipe clamps from Lowes.

 

i got a k&n typhoon short ram cai... best thing ive found... only 300 bucks

 

Does it seem to spool up faster ? can you hear it inside the car ?
