Favorite/Rcommended exhust?

Looking to install a downpipe and CBE on my 09 Chevy Cobalt SS Turbo. Since there are so many different kinds of products I don't know really which one to pick. Which ones would y'all recommend or which one do you favorite the most out of the others? Please post any opinions, videos, or pics.

Thanks

I am partial to the mpx exhaust myself. catless downpipe and mufflerless exhaust sounds sexy as hell

with muffler
MPx 3 inch Catback Exhaust 08-10 Cobalt SS Turbo - Exhaust Systems

no muffler
MPx Exhaust w/ No Muffler 08-10 Cobalt SS Turbo - Exhaust Systems

catless downpipe

I'd have an MPX if I had a SS/TC

Treadstone 3" straight pipe exhaust with catless dp. Its only loud when you start it up and when u get on it. I can cruise and barely hear it. Doesn't drone too bad on the highway either. Might I mention it makes your cobalt sound like a little mack truck.

BAD-MAB catless dp. cheap and definitely quality.

it was said to me, a dp is a dp is a dp. maybe if youre getting a cat id go for a quality cat dp but if your going catless then its whichever is cheapest if theyre the same size

Moved to LNF section

And OP, I love the sound of the MPx exhaust. That is my exhaust of choice. If you're going catless on the DP, they're pretty much all the same if you're gonna get tuned anyways. If you aren't gonna get tuned, get the badmab downpipe and get an 02 defouler. I've been running that setup for over a year with no CELs

For those of you who've gotten a CEL code by installing an exhaust, what did you do to remove the CEL? Was it a hassle to get rid of?

the only thing on the exhaust that can cause a cel is the downpipe. If you are worried about getting a cel, get a catted downpipe. Or try an 02 defouler, Modern performance sells them, I've had good luck with them.

No idea what I'm putting down, never dyno'd, I've got a K&N intake, and a catless DP.

It's a very nice exhaust IMO. Probably the quietest aftermarket catback available, and has a smooth, deep tone. The only real issue is that it's known to hit the rear axle over bumps if you're lowered

Badmab catless dp, lowest price, great quality.. An slp loudmouth dual exhaust
I might be a tad biased tho

An the Hahn exhaust sounds incredible, but seems really overpriced.. The new one is supposed to be coming out soon, but don't expect the catback to be under $800.... Jus sayin lol

I have the Hahn. had it on since the car was new. I like the sound and I get coments on it often. I have had no cell issues with any of the pieces I have put on the car and that was with the stock tune and now with th GMS1.

I like 3" catless with the stock catback. Sounds stock until you get on it. I've had alot of people tell me my car sounds like an EVO or a DSM.

I have zzp dp and turbo xs gt. Sounds really quiet cruising and deep tone. Before I got tuned I drove for about 2 months with no check engine light. The only time its loud is on a cold startup.
