So as many of you know, I lost all of my coolant into my oil recently. Well, since then, I do not trust my stock block in the least bit as it got pretty hot when I tried making it to a gas station and is most likely warped. Whether it is or not, the year my engine was made is included in the porous block bunch and therefore I am not trusting it and am going with a new preassembled ZZP engine as it is only a few thousand more than a new factory engine. That is all, lol.

umm, i thought our engines were near bulletproof?
why did yours blow up, and why did you make reference to bad blocks? is there certain build dates that are bad?

I didn't really blow it up. It just got coolant in the oil and ruined the bottom end and got so hot it prob warped the block as well. I just don't want to have an issue again.

Welp, just ordered the ported head and cams. The stock head and cams will be sold along with my stock turbo, fidanza flywheel with 500 miles on it and arp bolts, my stock turbo set up, and possibly my second ecm. I also have an MPX FMIC that I am not sure if I will sell it yet or not. Charge pipes + bov is next in line as I really dislike the fitment of the lower hahn cp, especially with the 3 bar map sensors, and the upper charge pipe is just plain noisy and rubs on everything.
