FMSR vendor

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has dealt with this vendor? I've been loking at their website and I'm possibly interested in one of the staged G35 transmissions they offer. I've emailed them and PM'd them but have not recieved any reply. I will call them if I get some positive feedback. Thanks!!

If that were the case then half the vendors on this site would be out of business

Rudy has always gotten back to me within a day or two

Bullshit.

the fact that he is a mod doesn't preclude his right to have an opinion.

And I agree. If you have emailed and pm'd a vendor and they didn't respond it's a clear sign that they don't want your business.

He can have all the opinions he wants IDGAF, but when he is telling people to turn away from a paying vendor because they took "too long" it is unprofessional in any type of business relationship.

How do you think other vendors/potential vendors are going to feel about mods telling people to walk away from vendors due to slower than average response time? The point of being a vendor on here is to sell more stuff, and the mods should not be getting in the way for this. He is accomplishing nothing but bad things with that comment, and this site needs good vendors to function.

Yup needs good vendors. Ones that answer email and pms.

It doesn't matter how much the vendors pay to advertise here, if they do not respond to sales requests they are no damned good anyway. Moreover any mod here that tries to spin that in any other way would be blowing smoke up your ass and would lose any credibility.

I'd also remind you that the mods here are care enthusiasts, just like you, who are not paid to post here or help maintain order. They are no employees of Internet Brands and have no financial stake in trying to sell you on an uncommunicative vendor.

This is, of course, providing that the vendor had adequate time to respond. The OP never does say how long he waited.

they were all deleted not edited.

warning two. nothing to contribute, keep it moving.

What I said was generalized, you took it personal, and out of text.

FMSR is local to me and I've hung out with Rudy a few times. I know he's over the top busy.

Last I talked to him he was saying how he's got a lot of business in other countries from them ordering parts.

That's good to hear. Always nice to see the small guy swamped vs big business. Especially US buisnesses at that.

Might let him know it will probably be worth his time to spend 15-20mins a day responding to potential customers even if its I'm swapped but I see your request

I have always pmd him on fb. I know he is busy and is not on fb every day. But he gets back to me in a reasonable amount of time. He doesnt get on this forum every day either. If it has been several days, i can see being frustrated. But just give him fair chance to respond.

not even 15-20 min - like 2 hours in the morning just responding to international emails, then 1 hour returning phone calls..

actually 3 months - but who's counting? - he got his refund back last month - the insurance the company UPS uses took awhile to send us the check..
