Modern Performance calls it a Divertor Valve.

Anyone have experience with this? It looks like a VTA BPV, but I don't know.

Im getting ready to install it, I had to have vince send me a ecp tune aswell. $20 cheaper than what I paid to.

I will, hopefully this weekend. I know Jerry from BNR did one with his cobalt ill see if I can find it. His vids are the ones that convinced me, I guess its alot louder in person though.

It's way louder in person then in the video. Especially when you give it 20lbs of boost or more it sounds crazy.

I'm loving it. My ECP tune was causing it to run lean and had flutter. Just flashed it with my old tune. Running rich now though hopefully I can get that resolved.

 

Well that's two people now I've seen say ecp was causing it to run lean :/

 

il just leave mine how it is haha.

 

I was just thinking how cool this ecp tune is. I know 2 negatives out of a lot of positives shouldn't weigh that much but it does for some reason and I'm glad I'm not on it right now.

I guess I'll stick with the Forge BPV. I don't feel like retuning.

Im sure whatever the leaning out issue is vince can fix it. He prolly sends you the base ecp tune if you havnt sent him any kind of logs. I wouldnt expect tbe car to be perfect on first tune. Im on tune number 4 and my car is just now running good but not completely there yet. The ECP tune vince sent me includes all my fuel trim chnages and other changes he made. If I have time today ill install the forge and upload the new tune and will make a vid.

 

That would be sweet if you could. I've also read two good reviews on the ecp tune so I guess it varies. I'm hoping my first tune with it, it's fine lol. One because I wont have a cable to fix it with right away lol

 

I've never had any issues with ECP, and yes we are selling these too for $165 with free shipping. We are the ones that tested these for Forge.

 

Mines running great without the ECP tune. Solved my rich condition, over oiled my air filter. Lol
