Fuse for windows keep blowing

Fuse for windows keep blowing

Both windows stopped working so I replaced the fuse and it blew right after the windows start working again. What could be the problem? Bad ground or...............

check the rubber boots on each door where the molex plugs are... make sure they havent pulled out/came loose

I had this same problem on my SS/TC. And what the problem was is that the wires for the power windows go behind the dash... I believe where the radio is... So what the dealership did for me is they took out the radio, and what they saw was the wires that control the power windows were rubbing against some metal and of course, metal-to-wire contact= a short --> Blown Fuse.

So tell them that you beleive that wires in your dash rubbed against some metal, and that's what is causing the short. WARRANTY!~
