GM turbo upgrade kit. Is it out yet?
There is no turbo upgrade. Are you referring to the Stage 1 kit? The hardware is currently available to buy but the tune from GM is still in limbo. You can buy the parts but you still have to wait until the tune is released. Theres like 4 official stage kit threads on the forum, check them out in the lnf section.
hey welcome to the site, lol. :grabs popcorn in anticipation:
the kit is out for purchase, you can get it at a local authorized GMPD dealer for $500.50. Or you can get it on here at CED.com for $550. up to you. you get a free t shirt at CED.com
THe kit is out for purchase but the parameters are still not out yet, so you will have the sensors and an I.O.U. ticket to bring to the dealer to get the parameters installed. It's looking to be an hour and a half install so roughly $180?

Wrong, stage 1 will be the sensors and flash...stage 2 will be a new intake of some sort...
it is not called a turbo upgrade kit. That would be physically upgrading the turbo with something. This is called a stage 1 kit by GMPP so was the SC kit. Stage 1 is sensors/tune, stage 2 will be a intake.
19212670 Performance Turbocharger Upgrade Kit for Solstice, Sky and HHR. GM calls it a Turbo Upgrade Kit for these cars but yet no turbo. It sounds to me like they will use the same kit just don't have a tune yet and will or will not include a intake kit. So if the intake kit is a seprate item I would think GMPP would call it a intake kit but may call it a stage II who knows. Guess we will wait and see.
well when it comes out, we will probably have an eclipse, CSS.net will be down and gmtunersource will have the info posted. I dont think you will have any issue finding out the date it will be released.
