Ah.....Just the Man I needed to talk to....

How long did it take you to install?

Did you have to pull the engine or could you do it from under?

it took me and my friends 12 hours to put it in. but most of the time we where just bsing around it should take you 8 hours or less to put it in. but i would have a shop put it in. safer and you wouldnt have to stress over it. and you can put it on without taking the engine out it just a pain and tight fit to put it in

345whp thats a load of poor tuning or some dumb **** for the synapse stage 3 kit. especially since synapse dyno'd their car at 371 whp and 383 wft-tq with stock exhaust! im also getting this kit by the fall and im aiming for 400whp with extensive tuning and with all my other mods and meth.

i would wait for the gm kit so you can read more boost. that one think i should of done. but i will be making more when i get my car back i have two little things to put on. but till hp unlocks more stuff we are still limited. but if they got that much power out of the car woth the same tune they sent me the what is different?

For the tune.... They send you a programmer with the tune file on it?

I'm sure they will get past the fuel problems soon. If so, I plan to have it tuned all out, put my meth kit back on and spray the intercooler with Nitrous.

Speaking of all this stuff...

To come soon...

Synapse turbo kit (possibly up it to a gt3076r)
Custom 3" exhaust
tranny mounts
motor mount
meth
Nitrous (intercooler spray, though might split it and spray a 50 - 75 shot in the cold side piping)
Full internals
ported intake
ported head
Cutout in DP before cat
spec plus stg 3 clutch
flywheel
...............................
CA air suspension
Drag radials
and more exterior mods.....

Might do a partial roll cage because I want to get into Autocross

that should bo it for a while....

then once they get past the fuel issues I wont stop till I reach as close to 450fwhp as possible

The stg 1 kit is rated at 290 crank...., not 270..

nittos suck for high hp applications..... BFG drag radials are the best>>>There's a reason they've earned the name axle snappers!!!!! GRIP!!!!

There are other ways around the factory limit of 255Kpa.

The tune we send with the kit is a bit more conservative than what we run on our car, as we expect each car to be maximized safety on a dyno and monetarying engine knock. I can tell you we run about 3 deg more ignition timing than is sent on our bas cal. It would be foolish of us to send anything agressive when we are in ny and its 60 deg out vs someone in az @ 120 deg. When the car is maximized it will gain a significant amount of power.

Most HHRs seem to make 256-260 whp with stage tune only 285-290 whp with full boltons and stage tune.

well they looking at just stronger stuff that it but it like 5000 dollars for the work that like more then a new tranny. so if you want a very good tranny for racing then go a head. i just having then price it for me and they looking at the tranny to make sure everything is good.

someone in SoCal got 535 WHP (110 oct) - with a piggyback fuel/ign setup and using both the stock DI and a second DI.. all using forged internals, 3'' pipes all around and a GT35.. and using stage 4 puck..

why wait for the stage kit if someone has figured out how to work around the fuel issue..

BFG Drag - Yes they do snap!! My 1997 GN had 15'' BFG Drag rad, and snap the axle and ladder/traction bar.. ($1200 repair bill)..

Nittos are great tires.. but to make them stick and work on the track - they need to get heated (130- 140 deg).. a 30 second burn out doesnt work, you need to burn them for atleast a full min.. to get them to stick properly.. trust me..
