IT DOESN"T FU$$KING MATTER because:
A) Vehicles are tested solely for the purpose of gathering data. They do not "pass" or "fail" the roadside emissions tests
B)Although participation in the survey is not mandatory......

You will not be able to get a clean pipe or illegal smog very easy afrter 2013, the state passed AB2289 last mouth, it is going rewite the smog program and smog enforement. They are going to make 2000 and newer cars only get an odb2 test and visual inspection and thats it no tail pipe emission testing. Cars 2000 and older will countine to get the full test with tail pipe emission testing, but only at station with the highest performance rating, and will be managed by the state. My advises is keep you stock parts, look out for random check points, and CHP, dont look too riced out, dont tint your front windows, and good luck.

I have my car registered in PA too, but live in NY lol All I do is pay my local mechanic 30 bucks for sticker and inspection. He passes everything lol doesnt care about cel's as long as your tire tread is good you get a sticker lol been going to him for 5+ years and never not passed. Well he did once, but it was because i had no grille in my old car, my solution though: drove to a friends house, stuffed some chicken wire where the grill was supposed to be, drove back and got my inspection sticker took about tens mins to do all that
