Hahn 20g Install questions

I'm sure some of you guys have swapped to a Hahn 20g on your LNF so, what were some of the issues of the install, ad what is the degree of difficulty for the job?

I heard you had to machine a part of the exhaust manifold to make it fit exactly. That's it AFAIK.

I wrote a guide on the ZFR turbo install. If any grinding has to be done on the exhaust manifold, I bet it’s in the same position I had to grind. With the exhaust housing being larger - this is the first place it hits preventing the parts from bolting together all the way.

S20G isn't bad, its a good turbo for the price. It sounds like the guy above me just had bad luck. I did a compression test on my car and I read 125 across the board...but im at 5500 ft above sea level....sounds like a crap tune.

I was trifecta tuned the hp tuned and the lag was the same. Idk if it was the weak motor causing lag, another thing was i also had a week vacume. It sat at 17 with ac off

My car was fucked up and runing like **** were gonna swap the turbo to another lnf down here and see of the results are the same,

Btw (I didn't tune his 20g) just letting everyone know

My full spool to 26lbs was 3200 4th gear and 3600-38003rd gear
Install is easy... Remove exhaust housing and install that by itself. It'll give you more hand room. Then install the cartridge and compressor housing and bolt up the wastegate. Easy..

Let me ask this here again is 500+ "WHP" possible on the Hahn 20G on E47? This is for everyone not just James.

The general consensus is no. Hahn said they made like 450 whp with the 20g with E85 but I don't think anyone could match those results. Most I've seen is 400 whp with E85 with the 20g. full boost Spool should be around 3200 to 3500

No, turbo flows 650-675cfm so only way possibly. To even hit 450 is high boost with a fuel additive for octane.... 500chp is possible more then likely but not 500whp

Thank you, i have been saying this since day one to another Kappa member that openly states to everyone that he is putting down 500+whp on E47. It drives me nuts because he misinforms people on the forum which have bought the kit from Hahn because of his claims but don't come close to his numbers.

A turbo can only push so much power out. 650-675 cfm is roughly 500most (crank HP) and that's literally up there in boost and a whole lot of timing... 52mm in and 49.2turbine.. Doesn't have enough to push out 500whp

Ummm is your friend at least going to rebuild the thing or take it apart for an inspection? Make sure everything is good to go?
