hahn intake help

Hey guys need some help. I have a Hahn cai and Im Thinking the MAF sensor is giving me problems. Some symptoms are running lean at idle, backfire, tries to die when starting off in first gear, and sometimes while driving it will seem like the car will accelerate by it self then I'll have loss of power. Also the intake will whistle on start up pretty bad also while driving even though I'm not on the gas.
Could it be the MAF sensor needs cleaning or could it be something wrong with the trifecta tune?

Im sure you've done this but make sure there ksnt any leaks from the MAF back to the intake manifold. If not secured correctly that would throw a code as well as other irregularities

Of your tuned for the cai, you shouldn't have issues. Unless the car has a leak after maf. Also you'll throw lean codes when you have a faulty map sensor or maf

Yes I've been tuned for the mods on the ss, I've went through 3 oxygen sensors on catless downpipe, and every once in a while it will through a p1040 code for o2 sensor then go away and also the scanner says it runs lean at idle

Was told by Vince to clean MAF sensor and if that does not work then I'll have to do some data logging

You'll need a K&N drycharger too, otherwise you'll get all sorts of awful things happening when it rains. It'll even do weird things (due to condensation) after you park it for a night, if the filter is wet.
