Hahn intake question
Hahn stated to us last night in a PM, 5 intakes went out without the nipple and they have already sent a package with it to each of the 5 customers....
I can't seem to keep that damn hose on mine after all to save my life, everytime i get on it then get the chance to check it, the damn thing has pop'd off, and when i put it back on, its all the way on and everything.
My solution(had to do this for the Dejon intake:
Go to NAPA Autoparts and by this 3/8" hose connector.
Grind it down until the pcv hose will clip onto the raised part of the connector.
Get a short piece of hose to connect the two together

Disappointing to hear the fix is not working for yea. Im glad i waited
That works perfect, exactly what it needs, It used to be all the way on but idk maybe there was a little to much movement & it still came off, with this it clips on the way its orginally suppose to. I just hated the fact that I had that nice big k&N filter down there and this hose could easily come off. Thanks man.
Im not bashing the Hahn intake at all, I think it is an awesome intake and he is one of the best company's for our cars, You just have to make things a lil more perfect every now and then.
I would deff recommend this intake, hands down, and as far as throwing codes i haven't had any that I've directed towards the intake at all.

This is basically what I am working with, it just like a compression female fitting...Idk but it didn't look like anything on any of hahn's intake. I thought maybe he changed it but the braided line just kinda slides on it and sits there, theres nothing to clip on to. sorry for not having any pics earlier.
My Hahn intake has the nipple welded on and it's all metal with a snap ring around the nipple near the end (opening) so the recirc hose clicks when it snaps into place...just like on the stock plastic nipple from the stock inatke.. Your nipple (no pune intended, LoL) Looks very out of the ordinary.....

THATS not a Hahn nipple.. on the Cool Ram... totally incorrect... What did that big bolt and nipple come from or off of? it's surley not from Hahns kit....

What you see there is our new style attachment for the breather hose. We made an improvement here by using a -6 ("dash-six", or 3/8 inch) stainless steel flare welded to the CoolRam tube. The stainless tube sction we provide then threads onto the flare. The earlier design used a one-piece tube assembly welded into the CoolRam.
This new configuration does not incorporate a retention bead, but none is needed, as the rigidity of the stainelss braided hose is adequate to retain its position on the fitting.
Why is this better? More versatility for future fun. For those who would like to add their own breather lines, or relocate the air intake, or add a larger turbo, this -6 flare is a universal hookup. Earls and Aeroquip hoses connect directly, as will any -6 JIC (industrial) connection.
Versatility!

Send me a PM letting me know how much you want for it. Did it just throw you into limp mode or what? If you have codes i'd try just clearing them with a handheld, or simply advanced. Did your tube end up poping off or what?
