Thank you! CAI should be within August. It will be unique, we are doing a lot of dyno and track development to learn some fun things about this department.

Heh, you bet...I went as quick as 1.78 on my SRT with small drag radials, but that was also with a S20G turbo that was not nearly as explosive at low RPM as the stock K04 on this Cobalt. The small, fast-spooling turbo creates additional challenges. But we'll get there! I made lots of laps in that SRT to get down to 1.78.

I did pull out a 1.96 on another pass with this setup, but alas, I got confused on my 'no-lift' shift that time, so the ET was off. But there it is...a 1.96 on this pass would have been a solid 12.9 ET. Even us hotshoes still need to find that 'sweet spot' to get repeatability! Thanks for the kind words and good wishes

Bill,

When are you coming back to the west coast to hang out? We should go do some target shooting, or have a bbq. I know in May 2009 we are taking a cruiseship to Mexico, you and the lady want to go on that one?

Yep, they work on the stock wheel. 245/40 R18. Clears the suspension and everything! Probably not good for lowered cars though...it's tight on the inner fenderwells. No real contact issues, but it is bigger than the stock tire, which ain't exactly small either!

I might be doing San Diego in a week or so for the Regional Sky/Sol meeting. If there's not enough tunes then I get to stay home.

I think if you look on the GMRoadster.com website you can get details on the Cruise to Mexico. If you head back to PHX let me know so we can entertain you.
