My 09 SS is having a hard time starting over night...it starts up and then gasps for air and almost stalls..then bounces back up

i have intake/tune/catless downpipe..this just started happening after the downpipe..but at the same time my map sensor blew up

thoughts??

 

i dont think this is the same problem, but when i had my sunfire and i opened up the exhaust but putting bigger one on and removing the cat, on stock intake my car would almost stall out to, until u got an intake and let it breath. is ur filter dirty? but i dont know dont think its the same problem

 

Im thinking it has to do with the intake..im going to remove it and remove the BPV and see if that fixes it..if not could just be a catless downpipe thing

how many K on your intake, whens the last time you cleaned it..
check you MAF, I had this problem on my 2.4, cleaned my filter and MAF and she was good to go!

 

first, get a fill up from a different brand/location than last time.

next, in any order.

MAF clean
TB clean
fuel filter
plugs

dude if ur maps blown then it will idel rough. mine stalls out every now and then. and has a real rough start in the morings.

 

mine does that but it did that after the catless dp too

I think there is a thread explaining why it does that. Hopefully someone can explain
