head gasket!!!

I'm so pissed...had a low coolant light upon further inspection had radiator replaced...car still acted a bit funny... decided to do oil change as it was due... and what did I encounter an over flowing oil pain. I'm so freaking pissed! 120,000 miles....

if it were the 3800 and doing a gasket I know that motor really well...so now I'm forced to pay some clown god knows what.

like to know how the hell it blew.... 08 LNF currently dead :-/

Probably a porus block, blown head gaskets are uncommon on ecotecs.

u most likely have a bad block, I don't even think iv heard of a blown head gasket on lnf. Porus block on the other hand, common issue. more than likely u need a new block, or just get the ldk engine from zzp, its cheap and porus block issue solved on it

It didn't affect enough cars to warrant a recall. It's an issue on almost EVERY 1.8L honda engine from 06-09 and they took years to offer a warranty extension on it, not even a recall. And that's hundreds of thousand of cars. LNFs? Maybe 5000 tops? They don't care if a couple hundred had bad blocks after 8 years.

Usually a more common thing with 09, not so much 08. What is your build date, it's on the inside of your drivers door.
