Was that 13.7 your best pass all day? Thats pretty darn respectable for just street tires and a pretty much stock car.

That's pretty damn good man! Hopefully you're able to cut a decent 60' and hit a 13.5-13.6.

I need drag radials so I can launch off the line better. Also everytime I NLS to 2nd I spun all the way threw to 3rd gear I lowered my tire pressure down to 26 psi still was bad. I need to get some tranny mounts

Nova I dig the sig, Two Lane Blacktop. That Chevy was badass.
Chevy: with a little work this thing could be really fast
Pontiac: Its fast enough
Chevy: It can never be fast enough

it's getting common. Just deflate some footballs, inflate in the rare suspension to taste and launch it.

Helps front stay planted a lot.

I'm going to take it you meant rear suspension and are you saying to install them inside the rear springs and inflate them??

Wow, that is a very high trap speed for a stock stage 1 tune. Most I have seen are running 104-105 mph. Then again some have trapped 104 MPH stock and some 98 MPH stock.

yes get the peewee footballs. regular size wont fit lol. deflate them and stick them inside the rear spring, then inflate them. make sure they're both at the same psi

106-107 seems to be the avg from what I've seen.

I've trapped 104.5 stock. Impressive in my book for a car that was completely stock at the time - I'm also a light guy too

If you are trapping almost 110 now on street tires, you should be a 13.0 car.You need to learn how to launch better on street tires, about 2.1 should get you there.Drag radials aren't going to help you much if you can't launch better without them
