Headed to ZZP

Starting my 2.5hr journey to ZZP to pick up a few goodies and ditch the stock tune for good I'm pretty psyched.

Due to "fitment issues" with their charge piping and needing to be back in Detroit I had to forgo the dynotune and settle for a street tune. Damn it's like a whole new car I can't believe I'm driving the same thing lol aside from it taking over 6hrs total I couldn't be happier

Did you have issues with the lower charge pipe? Just installed one this weekend and it fit like poop, pushed the wheel well cover out a good inch

Intercooler, charge pipes, gms1 sensors. All I can say is holy mother of boost. It's hard to stay under 100 on the freeway lol

Stock sensors are theoretically good to 29psi, or 2 bar, but GMS1 (3 bar) is the safe way to go.

Absolute pressure, not gauge. 22psi is the max it can read accurately at approximately sea level, after that is ball park.

holy boost batman. I cant believe I waited that long to get the car tuned. I don't believe ZZP does anything aggressive but its still way more than enough..for now lol. I haven't even tried flooring it from a dig yet, a 2nd gear pull is semi useless with my nitto 555 extremes and even though I don't have a ZFR im kind of scared to do a 3rd gear pull after hearing all the horror stories lol. car is a blast and I cant believe how hard it pulls from 60-100..i had a hard time staying under 90 on the ride home haha

if you row it thru the gears to redline your tranny will be fine. In 3rd I make sure to be at minimum 3500rpm before I hammer it. in 4th I don't hammer it til i'm at 4000 rpm minimum

My tires must be getting worn because I did a 3800rpm roll in 3rd today and it broke traction immediately. Feels so good though!

They didn't really elaborate but I'm stock rims on 225/40/18 nitto 555 extremes and I wanna say h&r springs I can't remember I put them on dec '09. They're red and low I know that much. See above tho someone else had an issue too

what does coilovers or wheels have to do with their pipe pushing the wheel well out farther then oem?

regardless of any wheel size or suspension combo their should be no issues like that. glad they manned up to it.

Are you sure? When i started tuning on the stock sensors, it read 22.5 psi, but was actually around 26psi bc they can't read higher lol.
