NO... You need an INTERCOOLER

Heat exchanger is for Supercharged rigs, they are similar in what they do, but different in theory and application

If you want one at a low cost..you may want to look into GenuineSaab...the "crazy Steve" intercooler from them isn't too expensive....otherwise there's tons of vendors on here that sell more expensive and arguably better quality ones

Like I said...arguably...The Crazy Steve one has had its fair share of complaints...but equally as many (or more) satisfied customers...so it seems to be hit or miss.

Well hopefully you fall under the satisfied customer list and not the horror story list.

yeah its a 50 50 shot in weather or not the crazy steve is going to work with your car and charge piping. ive heard everything from it wont fit at all to fits like a glove. i recommend the smax hahn or synapse over the crazy steve. spend the money you get what you pay for.

I tried to install my Crazy Steve, yesterday. I should have taken pics, I guess. I had crash-bar clearancing issues. I sent it back.

[QUOTE=BartSS;4624192]I fall under the fits like a glove category hahha[/QUOTE

This was me!! It fit better then any other intercooler I have every installed....I did not have to drill or grind any thing I just used holes that where already there.....It is an ebay core tho I have seen them before but the welds looked good and I am really happy with it...it did take me about 15 mins to get the charge pipping on tho......but the biggest thing is will this give me any more HP/QT? I was think 5hp 5tq?

Also dose any one know if I can still get the GMS1 reflash.....I bought the kit and I have it sitting in my room waiting for winter to end...I was going to put all my stock stuff on it and take it in and get the reflash. I dont have the stock intercooler sooo will they do this wiht my crazy steve or am I SOL?

I have crazy steve intercooler and I love it. Fit well. Matching up to the CIA charge piping was easy.
