They are great battery's, had one for 8 years before it died.

If you have access to a multimeter, measure the resistance between the tips of your right and left index fingers. Then measure the resistance of a coat hanger from one end to the other. Record the results. Now put your index fingers on the positive and negative posts of a car battery. Record the results. (There won't be any). Now put on some eye protection and gloves and carefully put the coat hanger between the battery posts. You have just had lesson #1 of "OHMS LAW". E=IxR E being the VOLTAGE applied. I being the CURRENT generated and R being the resistance, or LOAD. In essence the bigger the load "resistance" the lower the "current". Now repeat after me. "A 12 volt battery will NOT hurt me".
To find if there is a load on the electricle system, remove the neg cable from the barrery and put a test light between the batteries negative post and the cable. If the light lights you have a DRAW NOT A SHORT on the system. You can then remove one fuse at a time till the DRAW goes away. BINGO! You found the system the problem is in.
OR! You could just take it to the dealer and pay $100 an hour to have them do just what I told you to do.

i agree, just saying if a wire grounded out that was live it would be fried and not give off anything except maybe buring ur car down if its in the wrong place. i'v done it before by accident. the wire burned up in a hurry, but i noticed so i disconnected right away.
