Help

I got a thousand bucks to blow on my car. And I have no Mods or anything yet. Any suggestions on what to buy?

Trifecta or HP street tune. I agree with slowswap. Downpipe, drop in, and tune. You may even have enough cash left over for a nice set of springs if you buy catted. If you go catless, you may be able to get some nifty charge piping.

As far as downpipe goes, I say clear image automotive or zzp performance. As far as charge piping I also say clear image automotive.

the stock intake is what most people who modify their cars keep on cause it works perfectly fine, if not better than the aftermarket intakes.

Dont worry about the intake, DP and tune are the best bang for your buck. If you want a shifter TWM's is very nice (get the bushings)

Thanks guys. Should I wait til GM releases the turbo upgrade? And then get a tune on top of that?

Header? Why would he want a header? The turbo bolts up to the manifold. Maybe he could port the manifold, but I would save that for much later.

If anything look in classifieds and get used parts, I bought a nice Dejon Sri for $60, used catless DP from hahn with 3k miles on it for $220 and a tune for $215 from Vince, im pushing 22 psi's with approximetly 300whp. Im selling my hot pipe with a turbo XS BOV on it if interested for $290, considering spending over $400 for brand new stuff its a good price! Hope this helps!

Yeah it did help a lot. I think I might be going with the Hahn tuner. It's expensive, but it seems super easy to use and update

If youre going with "super" easy, just buy the superchips. Not a lot of power, but a hell of of lot cheaper than the BSR.

That'll be the only thing you can afford WAY OVER PRICED go with CIA for downpipe, charge piping and sri intake. You'll probobaly notice that there are very few used cia parts for sale! thats because they work properly! Trifecta for the tune. Great quality products, the right fittings and Vince from trifecta is great. I have these mods never thrown a code once everything installed with no "modifications".
