Just driving normal.. Alll the sudden CEL comes on.. Only boosting 16-17lbs.. Any ideas? Boost leak?

then yeah car is in limp mode. If youre on stock IC check the endtanks and if you got aftermarket chargepipes check all the connections

humm, that does not sound like a leak to me. My leak was brining up MAF and MAP sensor codes.

 

Well now its boosting fine.. Idk maybe a computer freak out?

 

Maybe conditions caused it to swing lean for just enough ime to throw a code. Clear or and see if it comes back

 

idk its wierd.. was running fine all day.. i look down and theres a CEL.. only boosting 15lbs with the tune, and 5-7lbs stock tune.. out of no where it was boosting fine, the CEL was still there, came out and started it up, running up to the store and it gone and everythings running fine...... wiiieeerrddd.. it was 105 degrees out today lol..

 

A boost leak or vacuum leak can cause a lean condition.......

Could easily be a loose coupler. ..

 

It could be a MAP sensor going bad. It will go back and forth for a while then just stay in limp mode

 

You'd hear a boost leak, and they don't mysteriously fix themselves.

Could have possibly been a misfire or something that cleared itself up? I dunno...

Wouldn't a boost leak set a rich code??? I think that would be a sensor issue like bartss.
