Help

Well I'm about 700 miles from home. And ran over a deer didn't hit it just ran it over. While running it over it took off my bottom plate of my intercooler and the plastic piece broke pretty good. I know I shouldn't drive my car with that big of a vacuum leak. But can anybody think of a way to patch it temporally so I can make the rest of my journey. The hole is pretty decent I would say about one inch by one inch buy that's just an est. I took a picture but not sure how to post it on here. But any ideas will help.

Cover the hole with some plastic and use jb weld quick(not the regular one, the quick one dries pretty fast) to hold it, and lay off the boost until you get a new intercooler.

If you are by a hardware store, find some of this stuff called quick metal. It's dries fast and hard. Plumbers use it for water leaks. It's clay like so you can mold it easily.

duct tape and stay out of boost x2. I had the intercooler hole in my car for about 4 days before I got it in. Just stay out of boost.
