I have a list here of Cobalts in my area but when I call the dealer doesnt know what the G85 package is or a rpd. I have the VIN's I just want to know if someone can look those up and see what packages those cars have... Help me get into a SS!

Click on find a vehicle, and put in your zip. You'll be able to see inventory and look at the window stickers.

I dunno how much the RPD is, but w/ a sunroof and LSD sticker ought to be around $25,515 and that will give you an idea of what cars have what options.

haha BART!!! yeah man, some old lady didnt yield (her fault) which resulted in my ms3 getting the front end crushed in. Its not totaled but I dont trust the car anymore, specially since the airbags didnt go off and the frame is bent. So I plan on trading it in for a SS

hahha ms3 was great! I had bought a forge BPV after that SS meet and the car pulled harder. Man what a fun car. But I think its time for a coupe, ive never had one and I hear ladies put out like 60% more if you have a 2 door car. The ecotec is a strong engine I hear so its just dealing with the, imo, ugly front head lights. Then I'll have to get HID's cuz the ms3 has them and auto adjusting, and idk how people drive with standard bulbs. Its a DD but I'll track it so it was a new ms3 or a SS and I rarely use the back seat so its time for a change. That and I have to match Jeff/rallyracer, cuz we're so BFF

 

That is why you just go to the dealer and look at the cars and you will know all of the options.

 

Um I live 2-3 hours away from those dealers....sooo yeah not the best idea. Believe me I wouldnt be asking this if it wasnt needed. There are no SS cobalts with in 100 miles of me.

 

Tell the dealers to look under the trunk mat in the back drivers side corner. Tell them to look for G85. (LSD) I'm not sure what the RPD code is. I'm sure someone else does.

If they want to sell a car, they'll do it.

 

Ladies might put out more with a coupe but I pretty much turn my back seats into a bed lmao. Good luck on the search bro and keep us posted

Well I have a dashhawk so maybe that will work instead.

There is a 2008 for 17,999. All the 2009's though I havent asked what they can be dropped too as of course they list them at msrp, 24k which I would never pay. Im shooting for around 18k for a new SS with g85.

 

Good luck with that...while GM is looking to sell a lot of vehicles, they are also looking to MAKE MONEY! That price is way less than the employee price...

 

As I have said on here before, I got brand new 09 TC with every option except the RPD for $15995.

Yep i got mine with G85 ,hirise and usb for 18K

When looking for the rpd and G85 i have found that the car's that sticker 26K are usually the ones that have both cause dealer usually load em up at that point.... unless they are a special order that fell threw . I've searched threw pages and pages and that was one of the flags that can narrow it down a bit.

go on the web site, check the options, write down the package names (UUI) (RPD) G85, etc, then start looking.

 

No SS i found in MN has the RPD, I wanted it but..whatever I have a dashhawk if that works. G85 is a must, but idk about the usb thing how does it work? It would be nice to have it charge my ipod/iphone and play music off of it.

 

its sick, it does charge it, and you control your playlists, play by artist, song, etc
