help please

hey everyone wondering if someone can help me. this past Monday i installed some new gauges problem is i couldn't find / figure out what wire i had to hook my air/fuel signal wire too...i think i found what looked like to be an O2 sensor kinda new or in a pip very close to the turbo, i didnt test n-e of the wires but from what i remember there were

a gray wire
a purple and white striped wire
a green wire
a white wire
and a red one i think

i also never seen a 5 wired O2 sensor

does anyone know what wire to tap into to get a reading off my gauge

-thanks

It is a wideband sensor, it won't work with your gauge. Get an obd2 gauge like the interceptor, dashawk, etc.

im guessing since u didnt get a o2 sensor with ur gauge it is a narrow band gauge, throw it in the trash, u waisted ur money, all u will get out of that is a nice light show. i had one, they suck, go with what rat said or get a wideband gauge and get the prob installed but a mufler shop that will install the thing u screw it into on ur downpipe. but since it had to be really close to the turbo, and they will have to take off ur downpipe to do it, maybe just get the interceptor, will cost less.

the cobalt ss turbo have factory wideband sensors. look up aeroforce interceptor. they are a scan gauge for many parameters on the car and will also display your wideband a/f ratio

agreed, they are much cheaper than other wideband gauges, for a wide band gauge ull pay 250 to 350 and up, interceptor gauges are cheaper.
