Help please!!!!!

hey guys chris here, first off, it was great seeing everyone at the OC meet last month! ok heres the dilema, i have a Hahn CAI, HP tune and catless zzp downpipe as my modifications. it is POURING today in baltimore and i did hit several huge puddles that were unavoidable, but about 5 minutes later when i merging onto 695 in towson my car wouldnt accelerate like it used it. i figured i accidentally shifted into 5th so i went into 3rd, and when i give it gas, i hear a whine almost like a supercharger but sounds like its air. the whine occurs right when i would normally start getting boost. my RPD reads zero psi on the boost guage setting. i limped it back to my house and its in the garage now. does anyone have ANY ideas what this could be?

still figuring out how it got fucked. theres thick chunky oil all over the inside of the intake and charge pipes, were gonna change the oil and look for metal shavings to see if my block is proverbially, "fucked" as well. headed to salvo for oil.

The fact it happened after hitting puddles with your CAI>>>pulled water/debris into the intake and motor?

Nope not normally because it would have to make it through the turbo, hotpipe, IC, coldpipe, and up though the throttle body. It is possible to get water into the motor but more than likely the water is what messed up the turbo.

With complete hydrolock yes. If this happened right after hitting the deep puddles you almost certainly pulled in water. Not sure how it would screw up the turbo but if the engine farts big you could blow some rings..etc..sending oil all over the place. You said charge pipe had oil in it...HOT SIDE too? Then turbo was leaking oil into it OR>>>oil from motor farted back through IC into hot pipe. How does IC look?

Trust me, just get your Terminator.

Also, I've noticed that a few LNF's have had the same problem as you. Seems like it's becoming a common issue, I don't remember exactly what it is but you likely blew the #1 piston ring IIRC. My friend had the same exact problem. He went back to stock, got a new warranty motor, and traded it in for an evo. After he had that problem I sold mine and turned my toy car into my dd until I find something else to dd.

yea i have a buddy who offered to sell me a brand new k04 stock turbo for 200 bucks. dont know what they normally go for but i know its more than that. my only issue with taking it to the dealer is that im tuned and i dont know how to get my stock tune back or hide my present tune. my local buddy sold his hptuners. so i dont know how to stealth it into the dealers. we put the car back to stock. should i buy the new turbo bolt it up and see how it does and cut my losses? or possibly get anally raped at the dealership by some cobalt hating service manager. ideas? and yes i want my terminator bad. i think this might be an omen. i saw 16 mustang GTs thursday, then an 07 shelby on my way home from work then my friend in his built 03 svt cobra rolls by unexpectedly right when i got home. thats 16 GTs and 2 cobras? then a blown turbo. maybe thats a sign to get my V8 ive wanted so bad!!!

I thought your issue would have just been a wet filter.
